Complaint policies

ECN is committed to assisting child care providers in the successful practice of their profession. We recognize the importance of child care services to our community, and the vital role that child care providers play in the lives of children. ECN is also dedicated to supporting families of young children as they look for the best care for their child. We are honored to partner with parents in their child’s first successful early learning experiences.

Because we strive for the best care for all young children, we would like to inform you of our policy regarding complaints about childcare programs and about the listing of child care providers in our referral database. ECN reserves the right to list or not list any licensed child care program based on the following policy. This policy outlines reasons that ECN will remove a childcare program from our referral list given to families seeking childcare.

Please also note that ECN does not make recommendations to parents regarding types of care or individual providers, and we will not disclose to parents specific information regarding complaints or reasons for not listing a child care program with our referral service. However, ECN does provide information to parents about how they can locate and review licensing files through the Colorado Division of Child Care.

We do not discriminate in our referral process on the basis of race, creed, sex, age, national origin, or sexual orientation.

We always appreciate your visits and phone calls, and we welcome any suggestions that can help us improve our services. Please let us know how we can help you.
