Quality Improvement

T.E.A.C.H. provides college scholarships to early childhood education professionals to help them earn early childhood credentials and degrees.  This program works to increase the education levels of Colorado’s child care professionals, reduce turnover in the child care field and increase child care wages.

Founded in 1926, The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the world’s       largest organization working on behalf of young children with nearly 80,000 members, a national network of more than 300 state and local Affiliates, and a growing global alliance of like-minded organizations.

Qualistar Qualistar’s Colorado Child Care Events & Trainings Calendar is your place to search for training opportunities, family events and early childhood professional happenings.

You may search the calendar by topic, county, or month and you may also search specifically for online trainings. If you would like to post information about a child care event in Colorado for others to see, simply create an account and then add your event to the calendar.

The Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care (EQIT) 48-hour course of training is designed for any individual who works with infants and toddlers in groups and is interested in improving his/her knowledge and skills. It is appropriate for individuals who have not had any formal college coursework, and, for many participants, the EQIT course is their first introduction to a post-high school course of substantial length. It is also appropriate for those who are looking for more in-depth, hands-on training focused on work with infants and toddlers in-group care.
